Senior Transportation Program in Lucas County
Qualified seniors in Lucas County can easily arrange for transportation to their medical and dental appointments by filling out our application form. Black & White Transportation ensures a smooth, hassle-free ride to and from your destination.
Through our collaboration with the Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc., we are proud to manage the Lucas County Transportation Program.
Our mission is to ensure that transportation is never a barrier to healthcare, enabling our senior community to access medical and dental appointments with ease and comfort.

How to Qualify
The program is open to all residents of Lucas County who are at least 60 years of age and need transportation for medical or dental appointments only.
Transportation will be available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Participants are limited to 4 one-way trips, or 2 round trips per month.
There are no fees associated with this transportation program. No payments should be made to the driver. However, users will be periodically notified the value of the transportation they receive and will be given the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution if they can and desire to do so. No on will be refused transportation because they cannot or do not make a voluntary contribution.
Making a Reservation Booking
We have a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) for you to call at 419-464-0230. Reservations can be made as soon as you have set your medical/doctor’s appointment, the sooner the better as rides are limited.
