Ryan Stack, Paratransit Manager

Ryan Stack brings an unconventional and genuinely compelling background to his role as Paratransit Division Manager at Black & White Transportation. A graduate of Albion College and the Art Institute of Colorado, Ryan built his early career in professional kitchens, working his way from prep cook to Sous Chef within the acclaimed Sushi Den restaurant group in Denver and leading the prepared foods and catering divisions at Cherry Creek Whole Foods. Those who have worked in professional kitchens know it is less a job than a way of life defined by high standards, calm under pressure, and an instinct for taking care of people. Returning to Toledo, Ryan owned and operated Dealership Specialties of Northwest Ohio, a franchise focused on marketing and inventory management for automotive dealerships. He joined Black & White in November 2025, bringing to the paratransit division the precision, accountability, and people-first orientation that defined his earlier careers, along with firsthand transportation experience from his time in dispatch and call-taking operations. Outside of work, Ryan is kept busy by his two children, Beckham and Rowan.
